Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP)
SIS India has an ingrained practice of rewarding and motivating key personnel to perform and deliver superior business results. Towards this end, it has formulated and implemented a generous Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP), which allows key personnel to share the growth in business value as a result of strong business performance.
Employee Relations Cell
At the SIS Group, we believe that when dealing with people, the most essential requirement is to listen. In line with this philosophy, in 2008, we launched the grievance redressal cell (GRC), a toll-free helpline for all employees the first of its kind in the security industry for employees to call and register their grievances and track their resolution through a unique number. The GRC directly reports to the Chairman’s office with a turnaround guarantee of seven days for every complaint registered.
SIS Employee Welfare Activity
The SIS Employee Welfare Activity Charitable Trust (SEWA) was formed as a Trust to provide various forms of assistance to the Company’s employees. SIS created a fund with an initial contribution. Thereafter, all employees have been contributing a small amount ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 25 on a monthly basis to this fund. This corpus is a source of meeting emergency requirements of the employees of SIS in India and is accessed by all employees for loans/ grants/ needs relating to marriage, medical assistance etc.
“I came to know about SIS through my uncle who was already working there. I started as a guard in 1984 at Ranchi, and rose to the position of Assistant Security Officer. My goal has always been to move forward in this field till I reach the position of EVP by working at whatever comes my way with my heart and all honesty, and also fill my co-workers hearts with the same enthusiasm and spirit. I found that SIS provides me with all that I need, they even advanced me a loan for my daughter’s wedding for which I will forever remain grateful. My role model has been the CMD who has always been encouraging me to work hard and accomplish my goals. I wish my company all the best and hope it becomes a truly international one because SIS has not only been helpful to me but all the staff too.”
“I came to know about SIS while working as an accountant for an auditor. It has been almost ten years now since I’ve been a part of SIS, rising from the post of an Assistant Manager to that of a Branch Accountant. Punctual, responsible and a strict follower of regulations, I began as someone who only knew accounts. Today, I aspire to become an Assistant Financial Controller thanks to SIS, which funded me with an education loan of Rs 1 lac. With the CMD being my role model, I feel privileged to work at such a company.”
